Case Studies and Example Projects

These are example scenarios that show how we approach common problems. We don't publish client names or results without permission, and we don't invent numbers.

Real client case studies are added here as projects are approved for publication. Until then, these examples show our method: what we look at first, what we change and what you receive at the end.

Example 1: A slow WordPress site that loses mobile visitors

The problem. A service business has a WordPress site that feels sluggish on phones. Enquiries have slowed and the owner suspects the website.

How we'd approach it. We'd measure the site with PageSpeed Insights and a server test to find where time is really going. Typical culprits are oversized images, too many plugins, no caching and weak hosting. We'd compress and convert images, remove or replace heavy plugins, turn on server-level caching and a CDN, and clean the database.

What you'd receive. A before-and-after speed report, a list of what changed and why, and a maintenance checklist. See our web development service and the guide to fixing WordPress speed and security bottlenecks.

Example 2: A web application that needs a security test before launch

The problem. An online store or portal is about to launch a big update. It handles customer accounts and payments, and the owner wants to know if it's safe.

How we'd approach it. With written permission and an agreed scope, we'd test logins, access control, input handling, APIs and configuration, using manual techniques and automated tools based on the OWASP guidance. Common findings include missing access checks, weak login protection and exposed secrets.

What you'd receive. A report with each issue ranked by severity, proof and clear fix steps, and a free retest once your developers have patched. See our penetration testing service and why testing is now essential for web applications.

Example 3: A local business that doesn't show up in search

The problem. A local company has a decent website but rarely appears for the searches its customers use, and its Google Business Profile is half empty.

How we'd approach it. We'd check crawling and indexing first, then fix site structure and titles, add LocalBusiness and FAQ schema, complete the Google Business Profile and create pages around real customer questions.

What you'd receive. A prioritised action plan, the fixes carried out and a monthly report showing clicks and rankings. See our SEO optimization service and the technical SEO checklist.
